A node has many properties, such as name, code, kind etc. To view and edit these properties, we open the node by double-clicking on its icon.
This dialog box actually consists of three different views labelled 窶廬dentity窶, 窶廛istribution窶 and 窶廾perators窶. As the dialog box appears on the screen we initially see the 窶廬dentity窶 view. To change to the other views, you click the corresponding 窶廬con窶 in left-hand part of the dialog box. We will soon learn about the other views, but for now stay in the 窶廬dentity窶 view.
All the properties shown in the 窶廬dentity窶 view are there to help you identify the different nodes. None of them affect the mathematical model in any way.
You select a field to edit either by clicking on it, or by moving from field to field by pressing the 窶弋ab窶 key on the keyboard.
- Select the 窶廸ame窶 field and type 窶彝evenue窶.
- Select the 窶弑nit窶 field and type a currency symbol, e.g., 窶$窶.
We then finish the dialog by clicking the 窶廾K窶-button.
